ABOUT US

Our Manifesto ... our dreams.

We believe that we will change the world through organic coffee and we know that change starts from the inside out. Therefore, here on our farm we no longer use pesticides and herbicides, as we know that both cause damage to humans and nature. We want to transform the lives of refugees because we have the hope that they can change their lives and consequently impact / change the world by giving back in the best way. In addition to housing refugees on our farm, we donate 5% of our revenues to the NGO Crescimento Limpo (Itu-SP) which also welcomes refugees. We believe that this way we create a circular and solidary economy, making everyone feel part of the Legacy that we want to leave here on Earth. In order to contribute to self-knowledge, we carry out yoga and meditation experiences on the farm together with the events of guided visits and rural tourism. In this way, we bring together more people who want to be part of our battalion to form the Legion Legacy. Let’s be the change we want to see in the world.

Our Geolocation

We are located 2 km from the city of Divisa Nova and we are among the hills of southern Minas Gerais with an average altitude of 900m. The coffee plants that were grown here are of the variety Mundo Novo and Catuaí Vermelho, each type with its peculiarity . To guarantee traceability of the harvested grains, we divided the plantations into 10 plots, taking care of the grain separately from the fruit coming from the foot to the roasting.

Legacy Organic & Special Coffees.

Today we understand that coffee is part of our DNA and that love for people is part of our essence. When we started our journey with humanitarian work, we understood the meaning of our context and since then we have given life to the Special Organic Coffee Legacy. Our commitment goes beyond making the best coffee and aligns with the dream of contributing to human development through every bean harvested from the coffee trees on our property. It is at Fazenda Santo André where we grow and select coffees with the purest ingredient: LOVE. The quality of the drink brings with it fruity notes rescuing the aroma and flavor that nature offers us the best.

The History of Fazenda StoAndré and Legado.
Acquired in 2000 by Carlos Alberto Jacob, Fazenda Santo André was focused on activities involving dairy cattle. Over time we decided to pay attention to what Carlos has worked with since he was 18 - with coffee. Then, in 2008, we expanded the coffee plantation and over the years, as we got a return, we invested in irrigation technology and in a structure for processing the beans. Exactly 10 years later, we started the process of administrative restructuring so that the second generation could start managing the Farm. In 2018, after returning from a trip to Africa, Rafael Jacob resigns from the food multinational where he worked to continue the management of the Farm. Since then, a new history has been built ... we want to change the world through the special organic coffee harvested on the farm.
